Up for sale is an exceptional, genuine Yamaha YTR-8335LAIIS Custom Generation 2 Wayne Bergeron commercial/lead trumpet in brilliant silver plate.

Note on the Casing Stamp: As is common with early Gen 2 production from the Toyooka plant, the second valve casing retains the original "YTR-8335LA" stamp. However, Yamaha Customer Support has verified this exact serial number (D73567) on their production ledger as a factory-born YTR-8335LAIIS manufactured on June 22, 2022. It features all true Gen 2 design overhauls, including the updated two-piece valve casing, heavy phosphor bronze bottom caps/stopper screw, and upgraded Xeno Artist-style piston/cap pads.

This horn has been meticulously cared for and is in Excellent condition. The silver plating is beautiful and easily 98%+ intact, showing only the absolute lightest microscopic surface swirling from standard careful use. There is no plating wear, scratches, or pitting at the contact points on the valve casing, leadpipe, or slides.

Mechanical Condition

• Valves: The factory Monel pistons are lightning-fast with incredible, crisp compression. The upgraded Gen 2 valve section gives this horn spectacular overtones and slots beautifully.

• Slides: All slides operate smoothly and seal perfectly. The reversed leadpipe configuration and French-bead bell rim give this horn a massive, open sweet spot.

• Modifications: 100% factory original with no structural modifications, past damage, or bent braces.
