Brought back from the scrap heap: Bach Stradivarius Model 37 Krylon Painted Blue for a 4th of July parade

A few Decades ago, the owner of this horn, who was in high school at the time, thought it cool to have a blue trumpet for 4th of July parade. Fast forward to recently, the owner had some regrets about his youthful choices. Once we got the multiple layers of Krylon paint, (a coat of white was under the blue) we could see what we had. A lot of the silver plate was a taken off and dents were filled with JB Weld. All slides, except the third valve slide, were frozen hard and required unsoldering to loosen. We finished with a rich patina and Gold Epoxy lacquer and left the inside of the bell bright silver plate.
