SOLD: This 1949 "Olds Studio" Trumpet, made in Los Angeles, is an example of the exceptional quality of the musical instruments that came out of the Olds factory during the F. A. Reynolds era. The remainder of the tubing is yellow brass with it's large leadpipe venturi (.351"). This horn produces a warm sound that rings with incredible intonation,
Finally, this model came with trombone-style main and 3rd slide water keys. The two-tone bell is made up of Yellow Brass with Nickel-Silver at the end of the bell flare. This combination provides a classic, fat and bright sound that is as contemporary as it is vintage. This professional trumpet is a gem and has exceptional valve compression and a fresh valve alignment. It has a new bright polished finish in clear epoxy lacquer.
